Christian Cheney, MBA, PMP - CEO/Consultant
Our founder is a business/IT professional with over 32 years of experience in IT, project management, program management, sales, marketing, operations, process improvement, senior management, business development, outsourcing and customer service.
He has an MBA in Business Administration and International Business from Santa Clara University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the global Project Management Institute. In addition, Christian has taught graduate level ecommerce classes at the University of Phoenix and undergraduate Project Management, Project Risk Management, Contracts and Negotiations, Marketing and Leadership classes at Colorado Technical University Online.
He has worked in both government, with the U.S. Navy and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and commercial industry. He has served as the Operations Manager for a start-up company, in the fast paced Silicon Valley and has also started and ran several high tech hardware and software companies along with a summer camp for teens.
His experiences include employment with Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco Systems, Inc. as an IT Program Manager where, in addition to managing multi-million dollar IT projects and saving the company over $63 million dollars a year, he raised $6.5 million in funding for strategic IT projects. He has also served as the Americas Program Manager in the PMO office of CHEP USA where he oversaw all IT projects in the Americas including a $46+ million IT infrastructure outsourcing deal and $2.5 million SAP upgrade coordinating the efforts of a core team of 28 and 600+ global testers.
